Dear teachers and schoolmates, good afternoon. I’m glad to be here. I’m No. 12 Speaker. I would like to share my dreams with you.
Everyone has a dream for the future, so do I. When I was a child, someone told me the word”dream”. I was so confused that I have been thinking what dream is. When I grow up, I know dream is the highest top that we need to try our best to reach. The meaning of it is difficult to say clearly, but it includes every corner of life.A heart without dreams is like a bird without feathers. What’s my dream? I‘ll share them with you.
When I was a kid, my dream was to have a lot of money. I believe many people have the same dream like this. However, as time goes by, I realize/know something more important. I want to be a doctor.
Why do I change my dream ? Why do I want to be a doctor? I have two reasons.
At first, I ever met a great doctor when I was in hospital at the age of 6. He is kind, skillful and perfect! I admire him very much when he is in his white uniform. I think that is the most beautiful uniform in the world. I also want to wear it someday.
What’s more, nowadays the health of Chinese is worse and worse. There are lots of people suffering from diseases. I feel very sad every time I go to hospital. I can’t stand that babies cry a lot because of pain; I can’t stand that sick old people are silent but hopeless; and I can’t stand that young people can’t go to school, can’t go to work, can’t play sports, can’t fall in love but just stay in the bed. I can’t stand all of these but I can do nothing. I’m so sad. I want to change it. I must be a doctor. If I am a doctor, I’ll be able to help them feel better; If I am a doctor, I’ll try my best to save their lives; If I am a doctor, my dream will come true.
But it’s not easy to be a good doctor. I must study hard from now on and get ready for my dream. If my dream come true, our China will have another good doctor; If my dream come true, our China will have less and less pain; If my dream come true, our China will become more and more beautiful. Our Chinese dream will come true, too!
